However, we suggest that the following laboratories be considered in all patients with new onset angioedema: 
-complete blood count with differential, 
-basic chemistry panel with 
-liver function tests, 
-C-reactive protein (CRP), 
-erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and 
-levels of the complement protein C4.
